I have worked out a way to use a blog within my own site design.

This could be a possible solution for clients as their own content management system without the hefty price tag (around $1,300 for a CMS). It's not perfect, but its free to update your own content, once I implememnt it into your site design. This may not work with a shopping site! It is still being researched.

I have listed what I consider to be the best FREE PC utilities, like anti virus programs, firewall's, anti spyware and backup programs. Unlike some sites that give you dozens to choose from, I have made it minimal, listing ones I use myself and am happy with.

Site Submission Tools

If you are looking for tools and sites for submitting your website to, these links will be of some benefit. Please be AWARE that many site submission sites require your email address. I encourage you to get yourself a free yahoo email account now. Unless you would like more spam in your inbox every day :) I do not recommend hotmail (at any time for any purpose). I know you can't be bothered, but if you want your website to rank higher in Google search, you need to work a little bit and submit it and exchange links with others. If your site is listed on other people websites, it makes it more popular, and listed in search engines more often.

Exoode

This one seems quite good, easy and fast. Make sure you have a reciprocal link to get instant approval, (ie:Put them in your links list first).

Google Adwords

This is a pay per click setup. This is probably the best paid for avenue to increase website exposure and popularity, providing you are comfortable with signing up and have some internet familiarity.

Google when ranking pages looks for the amount of links to your site, and the quality of those links, so you could have 10 well ranked sites linked to you, and rank higher than your competitor with 100 links. Its not about numbers as much as quality.

You will always be linked on my site, as I have pretty good ranking, it will also help your business traffic.

Webring is huge! A webring is a whole bunch of websites that have joined another website to be a part of their ring. Like Ducatigirl's Driveway has sites added that relate to ducati motorcycles from all over the world, motorcycle clothing, racing, touring, and other WA bike sites. You can surf all the related sites by use of a small banner with 'next' buttons or you can view the list of websites belonging to that ring. It is good for promotion and attracking traffic.

Another good way of promoting traffic is from a blog. I use blogger.

P.S Always use a yahoo email account or hotmail to sign up or fill forms. Spam could be a problem as not everyone is ethical, so use that one if an email address is needed. Honestly it really is worth signing up for a disposable email account. Personal preference being Yahoo - for better ethical practices. As far as I know, they don't sell it to marketers to spam you.
